12/08/08 - QUIZ NIGHT!!!
We had another successful quiz night held on 19th August 2008, but it could not have happened without the support of all those that donated prizes and helped out on the night, the club would like to thank you all.

Congratulations to those who took away 1st, 2nd & 3rd and to all those who were lucky enough to get a few spot prizes. It was a great night and we look forward to it again next year!

14/04/2008 - VICE-PRESIDENTS REPORT
It has been a good start to the season, starting from the 1st team (Capital 1) having their 1st win in the 2nd week, hopefully the good result will continue throughout the season showing that Stokes Valley is an up & coming competitive side again. Good to see some old faces back - Macca & Ratty and plenty of new ones too.

Same result for the 2nd team (Capital 6) with a win & a loss, promotion for this team is the main aim for the club to close the gap between grades for our 1st & 2nd team - so keep it up guys!

Killer Bees (Capital 8) & Hendo's Team (Capital 12) have both made great starts to the season also. Sadly our condolences go out to Terry Hefft and his family with the loss of his mother last weekend - she must have been looking down on him for he scored a hat-trick.

The Destroyers (Capital 14a) have started with a win & a loss also, as has our new Under 19 team (Capital 14b) which have gone through puberty and have joined us men in the senior ranks.

The Masters Mentors (Masters 4) have started off with two wins and plenty of laughs and not too many injuries (YET!) as they have been training for 6 months!

The womens side of the club is as healthy as ever with a great start to the season with good numbers at training & showing good results so early on. Good to see some of our new mums back on the park instead of the sideline!

Just a note to all: GET YOUR SUBS IN ASAP!

Club Golden Boot so far: 4 goals each to Terry Hefft (Hendo's Team) & Amelia Hamilton (Women's 1).
Laugh of the year so far - Andy Brown (Masters) taking on a man twice his size!
